Dr. Xin Chen, Investment Manager China
Xin is an expert in the field of IT and communication technology and has been an
asset to Triangle in the area of investment management since 2008. Currently she represents
Triangle in Shanghai, where she also works for Shanghai Jiao Tong University Science Park.
Beginning in 2000 Xin was engaged in several research projects during her studies,
including several large national projects in China pioneering the research of grid
computing. From 2004 to 2008, she did research at the Institute of Information Systems and
Management at the University of Karlsruhe. Her research interests include electronic
markets, network economics and agent-based simulation.
Xin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and
Technology of China and a PhD in Economics and Social Science from the University of
Karlsruhe in Germany.
In her leisure time Xin enjoys travelling, skiing and listening to music.
